Holiday Turkeys

Hand-Fed, Pasture-Raised

Liberty Family Farms offers pasture-raised turkeys for Thanksgiving dinner. The birds roamed freely in a fenced pasture behind the barn and next to a small brook that wanders the property. Fed on healthful grains with supplemental vegetables from the farmstead at the end of the day, our turkeys have bigger weights and a better taste. No antibiotics, animal by-products, hormones or additive are used.

We have different sizes this year, from petite birds suitable for a two-person Thanksgiving dinner all the way up to giant tom turkeys for an extended family.

Herbal and Fruit Additions to the Baking
For an easy herbal addition, consider a mixture of tarragon, thyme, parsley and sage in equal ratios. If you are using fresh herbs, do a fine chop. Dry herbs will work just as well.
